The Revelation

One in a series of seasonal paintings from the tail end of 2024.

Whilst aiming at an image of calm, my desire to arrive at a more satisfying title than 'two and a bit brussels sprouts, nudged me to interpret the scene as something different. whether it be a long-held secret or an article of clothing, the sprout in the middle has discarded something of itself as a gesture to its companion on the right - who is clearly aghast at The Revelation.
